I want to motivate women to vote, because voting isn’t just for men; women have equal rights. Don’t think: my husband already votes, that’s enough – your vote counts too. Do you have the right to vote? Then you have the right to vote, so use that right. Find your voice, because you are part of Dutch society and can help make things better. There are many meetings about elections where you hear which parties are standing up for issues like refugees, better education, or lower taxes. Ask questions and talk about it; asking who you can vote for if you find something important isn’t taboo at all.
